Trekking Uganda’s Primates & Wildlife Safari in Queen E.N.P
This walking safari flies you between Entebbe, Kisoro & Queen Elizabeth NP.
This Uganda walking safari trip flies you from Entebbe to Kisoro, hike across Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, drive to Queen Elizabeth Savannah park and take another small local flight from Queen to Entebbe. Most of the adventures on this trip occur in the mountainous southwestern corner of Uganda, in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and the Virunga mountains for 6 days. You’ll choose one of the Volcanoes for your hiking challenge, Mount Sabinyo, at 3,634 meters (11,923 ft.) or Muhabura at 4,127 m (13,540 ft), or Gahinga at 3,473 m (11,394 ft) elevation. After your Virunga Mountain challenge, please take it to the jungle to meet the magnificent mountain gorillas in Bwindi. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi is equally challenging, but we relax the adventure marathon with a canoe ride on Lake Mutanda and a cultural community hike. Hiking across Bwindi from Nkuringo to Buhoma on the Kashasha river trail (14 kilometers) will expose you to the richness of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, challenging you to look out for rare occurrences of plants and animals. Once you make it to the other side, in Buhoma, a vehicle will transfer you 3 hours to Queen Elizabeth Savannah park, where you explore the savannah wildlife and chimpanzees the next day. This trip requires you to be physically fit and ready to meet nature head-on. We’ll put you in the venture of Africa’s natural world for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
