The prices below give participants a general idea of anticipated costs for a basic itinerary. Virtually all participants have a unique requirement in respect of time frame on the trail, use of porters and volcano climb extensions. Please complete the booking form so a bespoke programme can be prepared for you detailing costs for your trip.

PORTER FEES
- Porterage 1: Kisoro to Sheba's Campsite Lake Mutanda or vice versa - Ushs5,000-
- Porterage 2: Rwajenge landing site to Nkuringo Gorilla Campsite or vice versa - Ushs15,000-
- Porterage 3: Nkuringo to Buhoma through Bwindi Impenetrable Forest or vice versa - Ushs15,000- (this includes the porters entrance fee to pass through the park).
TRANSPORT HIRE
The payments for special hire services if required will be paid for directly between yourself and the vehicle owner providing the transfer service.
- Hire 1: Kisoro to Sheba's Lake Mutanda Campsite Ushs30,000- or vice versa.
- Hire 2: Rubuguri junction to Nkuringo Gorilla Campsite (10 km section) or vice versa Ushs40,000-
The above rates are suggested rates only and could vary due to recent increases in fuel prices.
Not included
- National Park Fees (see tariff below)
- Local activities in Nkuringo (community walk)
- Snack/lunch box on day 1 of walk which should be obtained from the previous nights accommodation
- Drinks
- Any items of a personal nature
NATIONAL PARK FEES
You will be required to pay park fees and escort fees directly to the National Parks office in either Buhoma or Nkuringo.
- Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park Fees valid from June 30th 2008 through June 2010:
Per day per 24 hours US$30- per person
Ranger/Escort fee Bwindi Impenetrable Forest: US$10- per person.
VIRUNGA DAY TREKS
Our Nkuringo Walking Safaris Guide fee for one day treks on the Virunga is US$30- per day per group. The National Parks charge an activity fee as outlined below.
- Volcano climbing fee US$50- per person which includes the National Park entrance fee - valid from June 30th 2008 through June 30th 2010
ACCOMMODATION
Payments for accommodations in Buhoma, Lake Mutanda Campsite and Kisoro you will settle directly with the hotelier, guesthouse, or campsite as are not included in the Nkuringo Walking Safaris fee.
All accommodation rates include breakfast unless otherwise stated.
